Tangled in Silence

This painting was created with food coloring and black paint. I used a drip technique to make the colors run, as well as to get the tears to look like they are falling. This piece was made after a long stretch of artist block, and the person in the image represents the way I feel when I can’t get my hands to create what I want them to. This image was simple in color choice and layout, but I think that simplicity is what makes me like it so much.
