About the Artist

My name is Dana Harrell. I was born and raised in Northern New Jersey before moving to Vermont for college. I graduated with a degree in sociology and philosophy, but have always had the urge to create things. My grandma was an oil painter, and I took a lot of inspiration from her over the years. I love to paint with vibrant colors and abstract ideas, but my favorite thing is to see how other people interpret and feel about the things I create. I am completely self taught, and because of it Art is my form of freedom.
